Laura (Sandra Ceccarelli) and Stefano (Luigi Lo Cascio) are two actors who are working together in a 19th-century costume film. Laura is a young actress, and almost unknown in the cinema world, while Stefano, who is already famous but unsatisfied, he is acting in this costume film after an unsuccessful movie.
