A QUIET LIFE

For the last twelve years middle-aged Rosario Russo has lived in Germany where he, together with his wife Renate, own and operate a restaurant and small inn.  His life is serene: he has a son, an assistant cook who is also his good friend, and many projects for the future.  However, one day in February, everything changes.  Two young Italians arrive in Rosario’s restaurant.  The first, named Edoardo, is the son of Mario Fiore, head of one of the most powerful organized crime families.  Rosario immediately recognizes the other, named Diego, as his son.  They have not seen each other in fifteen years when Rosario was named Antonio De Martino and was one of the most ferocious organized crime leaders of Caserta.  At that time Rosario faked his death and reconstructed a second life in Germany.  Diego, who was then twelve-years old, is now grown and is affiliated with the Fiore clan.  Diego is in Germany on a crime mission.  But something goes wrong.  The tranquil life of Rosario Russo takes a unforeseen and dramatic turn.
